SHARNI JADE
EMERGING STYLIST

To be a hair artist, I truly value building connections with clients and colleagues. I always make sure every client is well looked after and feels confident in themselves with their new restyle or subtle change.

I have been in the hair industry coming up 8 years, I class myself as creative, consistently growing in new techniques from artists globally. Some say I’m driven and dedicated to my craft, they’re not wrong.

Balayages, lived in blondes, babylights are my forte. I absolutely love doing from chic, to long haircuts.

I freelance on the side every now & then, having worked behind the scenes of fashion shows and photoshoots. I am passionate about anything fashion related.

Q & A with SHARNI...

WHERE WOULD WE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN THE SALON?

Definitely out in nature, exploring NZ’s backyard, either hiking, camping, fishing or surfing. Spending quality time with my loved ones, family & friends.

WHERE IS YOUR MOST FAVOURITE SPOT IN NZ TO GET AWAY TO?

Great Barrier Island. It’s my ‘nature sanctuary’ away from reality.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST HAIR TIP FOR STYLING AT HOME?

‘Low maintenance’ clients - keep it simple. If you prefer to air dry your hair, go for it! There is no right or wrong, I actually always air dry my hair, keeps my natural waves intact and less fluffy. Add some dry volume texture spray or a light oil (depending on hair type) or no product and ruffle it up with your fingers.
