With 34 years of hairdressing experience, Steph has established herself as a true expert. Her career has taken her around the globe, managing salons internationally and gaining imperative experience. One of her most significant achievements was working with Toni&Guy in Dublin, where she honed some of the finest skills in the industry. This journey has shaped Steph into the exceptional stylist, team leader, and business owner she is today.

Steph believes that continuous education is key to staying at the top, and she emphasises the importance of teamwork in creating a great salon environment where her passion and expertise shine through every day.

With over 30 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Paula  has truly made her mark in the industry.  Her career has taken her overseas, where she managed salons and gained invaluable experience working alongside some of the most talented designers and stylists in the business.

Paula's ambition for her business and hairdressing is unmatched, and as a co-founder, she plays a key role in shaping the future of Luxe & Duke. Her passion  and dedication to excellence are evident in everything she does, making her a driving force behind the success of the salon.

Leanne has been a loyal and integral part of Luxe & Duke since the very beginning. With a wealth of knowledge and a huge clientele, she’s known as our resident blonde expert. Leanne’s passion for hairdressing lies in her ability to transform her clients whether it’s a complete revamp or just a subtle change, she knows how to make you look and feel amazing.

Leanne believes that great style builds confidence, and she combines creative colour with progressive cuts to achieve this.

Her dedication and expertise have made her a beloved stylist in our Grey Lynn location.

Michelle loves every aspect of what she does, but the relationships she builds with her clients and teammates are what she values the most. Pinterest remains one of her favourite platforms for inspiration, fuelling her creativity and helping her bring fresh ideas to her clients.

Michelle is passionate about achieving colour goals while maintaining the health of your hair. She enjoys guiding her clients through their hair journey, offering confidence through interesting colours and cuts. Always up for a challenge, Michelle takes pride in making her clients happy.

Gabby’s love for hairdressing shines through in everything she does. She’s passionate about the creative process and loves nothing more than leaving her clients feeling happy and beautiful. When it comes to colour, Gabby is all about making you feel like a movie star, whether it’s a shiny global shade, subtle baby lights, or a stunning balayage.

But where Gabby truly excels is with blondes—she’s a sucker for a fresh and bright blonde! She’s dedicated to ensuring the health and integrity of your hair and scalp, working with you to turn your inspiration into reality.

With 20 years of hairdressing experience under her belt, Monique brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every client she meets. Her passion for hair is matched only by her love for learning, as she’s always eager to embrace new education and techniques.

Monique believes in celebrating the natural beauty of each client’s hair. She’s dedicated to teaching her clients how to make the most of their natural hair, so styling becomes a simple and enjoyable part of their routine—no long mornings required.

Monique’s fun and energetic approach to hairdressing makes her a treasured stylist at our Grey Lynn location.

Emerging Stylist / Wynyard

Jess is nearing the end of her apprenticeship, and she’s already proven herself to be an invaluable part of our team. As the salon allrounder Jess keeps everything running smoothly and on time, ensuring that each day flows seamlessly, with her amazing multi tasking skills. She is always up for the chat and gives a killer head massage.

With a passion for colour, Jess is well on her way to becoming a standout stylist. She’s a perfect blend of talent and personality, with a love for cars that adds a unique flair to her character. But don’t let that fool you—Jess has a soft spot for all things girly, too.

We’re excited to see Jess blossom into the amazing stylist we know she’ll become.

Colour Assistant / Grey Lynn

Hailing from France and currently exploring New Zealand for a year, Loly Gaillard brings a unique and vibrant energy to our team. With a colourful past that spans multiple trades, Loly’s true passion has always been hairdressing. Her eclectic background adds depth to her work, making her a versatile and creative force in the salon.

As our assisting colour tech , Loly shines in every task she undertakes. Whether she's perfecting a hue or assisting with styling, Loly approaches everything with enthusiasm and skill. And if you’re lucky, she might just share one of her many fascinating stories that make every visit a little more special.

Loly’s zest for life and dedication to her craft make her an invaluable part of our team.

Isla brings a quirky, fun energy to our team, making every visit to the salon a delightful experience. With a sharp eye for fashion and a passion for learning, Isla is always honing her skills in the hairdressing scene. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she’s always eager to support the team and clients alike.

Known for a great flat white, fabulous head massages and ensuring every client feels at home and has a great experience , Isla's attention to detail and caring nature shine through in everything she does. And when it comes to shampooing, she’s got the magic touch—along with the cutest smile in the salon!
